The ‘new roger’ obsession started with this amazing belt at Lullie Vintage, which went perfectly with everything. Since it was not for sale, a furious search ensued, until I finally got my own version. It debuted on the blog when I went to the Holiday Stroll party at Amarcord (well, at least the top of the belt debuted on the blog). Since then I have been seeing gold chains everywhere.
But things got a little out of control when I noticed the belt was gracing waistlines of ebay vintage models everywhere. Here, a few examples from Bustown Modern and Noir Ohio.
After feeling betrayed by ‘new roger’ going all around town, cinching everyone and yo mamma’s waist, I might have to dump him for his blingy cousin, for sale at Posh Vintage…
