We're big fans of Mel, from Idee Geniale, so when we saw this outfit was inspired by Market Publique, we were thrilled!

It was Market Publique seller Lowbrow Jadey, who writes Lowbrow Style! Jade paired a light denim shirt with dark black denim and a red plaid poncho for a cozy winter look that is still super-stylish. She saw Kate's outfit on our blog! Kate, who is one of our Market Publique photographers, has effortless style and always wears the most awesome rings. She has helped me a lot to get comfortable in front of the camera when doing my outfit photos, but she stepped in front of the lens this time to show us her awesome outfit:

Voilá, the initial inpiration: Kate's outfit, mixing denim, shots of red and the plaid fringed poncho!
I love how each of these ladies wore their chambray button down with red, and how they made it their own: Kate with her super-dark denim and vintage poncho; Jade mixing blue and black denim and pairing the look with skinnies; And Mel, keeping the chambray and black denim combo but swapping the poncho for a cardigan in the same bright red hue.
Lovely chain reaction, don't you think? It really makes me happy when people can seek inspiration in other people's outfits and make it their own!
