A new year calls for a new feature!

And we're super excited to introduce our best feature yet - In-browser photo retouching.

We are launch partners with Aviary, implementing newest tool, Feather.

Watch our screencast as Jon shows you how to use the tool to get great-looking photos without the need of expensive software like Photoshop, right in your browser.

To use this new feature:

- Make sure you are using our Advanced Uploader. More info here.

- As always, you can upload up to 15 photos to your listing, for the same insanely low listing fee of $0.25

- Once your photos are uploaded, click on our blue pencil icon. This will launch the tool.

- Use Aviary's easy sliding interfaces, presets, cropping tools and filters to your hearts content and get those photos worthy of Market Publique's curated seller standards.

- Save & close the pop-up.

- Preview and post your listing and rake in your sales with your new retouched photos.

Our biggest release yet!

Introducing our new photo management system! We've made a lot of improvents on the site, which means faster loading times, easier image grabs for your blog posts, and ta-dah:

BULK Photo Upload

Now you you can upload many images for your listings at once! No more waiting for each picture to load!

You can also reorder, delete and upload more images, so your listings look just like you want.

Review our screencast, where we show you how the new bulk upload works, and just think about what you'll be doing with all time you'll be saving by having Bulk Upload, Selling Defaults, and our exclusive one-page listing process.

SOME POINTERS:

Your main image should still be square, 490 pixels by 490 pixels wide.

Drag and drop your square main image to the #1 spot.

For best results, clear your cache and restart your browser before using or new system.

To clear your cache in Firefox:

Go to Firefox > Preferences.
Click on the Advanced Tab.
Click on the Network tab, then the Clear Now button.
Quit and restart Firefox.

To clear your cache in Safari:

Click on Safari > Empty Cache
Quit and restart Safari.

To clear your cache in Internet Explorer:

Seriously, what are you doing with that thing?

- Revise, send and resend invoices

- Include promotional discounts or shipping discounts within the invoice before you send

Now you can shop directly from your favorite Market Publique stores by just typing in an easy web address!

Just type in:

http://shop.marketpublique.com + /stores + /sellername

for example, for our house store, the url will be

http://shop.marketpublique.com/stores/market_publique , since our seller name is market_publique.

If the store name has spaces or other special characters (not including _ underscores or - dashes), substitute the spaces for plus signs (+). For example, if you want to shop from Whiskey and Lace, you would type:

http://shop.marketpublique.com/stores/whiskey+and+lace  or http://shop.marketpublique.com/stores/Whiskey+and+Lace, since the URLs are not case sensitive:

Whiskey and Lace - https://shop.marketpublique.com/stores/whiskey+and+lace

Pamela shows sellers how to set Selling Defaults in our second screencast.

Seller Defaults are a great way to put a template of useful information such as your store polices, your store logo, and measurement fields for "bust", "waist", "hips", etc. Its also a great place to set up things like "fabric", "marked size", "estimated size", etc. You can add simple custom HTML as well!

Howdy Market Publique Sellers!

To get paid by your customers on Market Publique, you will need to set up 'Payment Details'.

Here's how:

Set Payment Details.

1. Go to My Account
2. Under Selling, click My Payment Details
3. Enable PayPal and input your PayPal email address, plus a custom message for your buyers.
4. Save.
5. Then follow the instructions on the right, to set up PayPal so you know when a buyer has paid.

Go to My Account, and click on My Payment Details

Set your PayPal payment details here. Follow the instructions in the yellow boxes.

*UPDATE* 

Login to your PayPal Account.

Go to My Accout > Profile > More Options.

Look for "Instant Payment Notifications" and click "Update"

Edit Settings and enter http://shop.marektpublique.com/notification.php as a Notification URL. Make sure IPN is enabled.

That's it, now you can get paid!
