Acid Reign

The Balmain show for Spring 2009 started many a trend: the marching band jacket, studded sandals and now, after much criticism and gasps of horror from the children of the 80s: acid wash denim. This trend is here to stay (at least for a while), judging from the Just Cavalli Fall 2009 show and their appearance at American Apparel stores.

So round up your courage and go get some real, acid-washed denim from back in the day. Slash it if you feel adventurous, and pair it with your favorite marching band jacket or leather jacket. Rock out!
