Dress Up Soirée - The Recap

Monday night’s Dress Up Soirée organized by Jennine, and co-sponsored by Independent Fashion Bloggers and Modepass, was a huge success and a ton of fun! I can’t wait until all the photos are posted everywhere and we can start voting up some fab outfits!

Market Publique was invited to participate by bringing models dressed in some of our vintage. So we got the gang ready for some fun and headed over.

Jennine brought everyone together and did a hell of a job making Broadway East look even more fabulous. Byron from The Journal of Popular Noise played some rockin’ music, and complied with our requests for more Smiths. And we all had a fabulous time.

I met a lot of wonderful people, all of them very fashionably dressed, as could be expected. A few of my favorite outfits were the white ruffled dress that Jordy from Clutch 22 wore, Nichelle’s vintage Paganne dress, Jennine’s blue sparkly number, also sporting ruffles of its own, Wendy’s jumpsuit, and what the guys from Fine and Dandy wore.

My models also wore some fabulous vintage, I hope someone else took better pictures of them, because I guess I didn’t get the whole outfits! Too busy meeting everyone…

I get talked into wearing a bow on my hair, made out of a sash that came with the vintage dress I wore. Leslie helps me tie it. My friend Priyanka laughs in the back.
