Erica Weiner Opens Her First Store in Nolita

Erica Weiner Opens Her First Store

Our dear friend and favorite jewelry designer, Erica Weiner, is opening her first store today!

We have been fans of Erica's vintage ephemera inspired jewelry for years. Open our jewelry drawers and you will find tons of pieces from her we wear everyday, by themselves or layered like the inside of a Joseph Cornell box.

In fact, we love her so much we commissioned her first wedding band when Jon and I got married! It was her idea to have us cast eachother's fingerprints so that we could have them on the inside of eachother's band... (She now has more wedding bands for sale, see here!)

So we were thrilled when she told us the news about her first store ever - opening today in Nolita!

A big step indeed, the store will be filled with her amazing collection of jewelry, most of it priced under $100, just in time for the holiday season.

In addition to her signature pieces, she will also have rare & collectible estate jewelry, which already has us saving up for some special pieces, like this AMAZING Victorian mourning ring. I have always been a fan of mourning jewelry, because of its romantic and slightly dark and creepy history. I also love how intricate and beautiful it can be, and this piece is a perfect example of that. With the signature braided hair inside, this tear-shaped ring is more unique than the more common oval & rectangle counterparts. The tear is surrounded by jet stones and tiny pearls, which also symbolize tears. How romantic is that? I've already put this on my holiday wishlist!
