In the Japanese Media!
I was featured in Japanese Magazine, Mint and Japion NY! *blush*...
For Mint Magazine, a few stylish ladies and me got photographed with our bikes - too bad I didn't have my soon-to-arrive tricycle with me!

It was freezing cold the day they took my picture, and so there was no chance in me taking my coat off - in fact wearing that coat instead of a puffy down one was vanity enough! Hey, I could not NOT wear my vintage Japanese Super Hakka coat! You may not be able to tell, but the pockets have bows built in - adorable. I also wore one of my favorite woolen vintage dresses, with puff sleeves and mitered stripes, but unfortunately you can only see the hem - oh well. And my Antik Batik Bag got special mention.

You may also recogize that gorgeous lady on my right, our lovely model Giselle. On a warmer day, Giselle was photographed in an adorable outfit including a vintage sailor-style coat and vintage burgundy bag - doesn't that girl ooze style?
The Japion article was from a while ago, but since I knew the Mint issue would come out soon after, I decided to bundle the post together...

Azumi Hezawa from Japion NY interviewed me about my passion for vintage, how we started Market Publique and inspected the contents of my purse. You can read the full article here if you know Japanese. Otherwise, rofl with this robotic Google translation.

What she found inside my 70s Gucci Tote:
- Vintage Gucci Coin purse - this is so adorable because it folds origami-style and then snaps shut, keeping your change safe. Plus, it's adorned with a tassle! I mostly use this to house my business cards.
- Vintage Snail Print Makeup Bag - I bought this deadstock from JessJamesJake and it has a big attached mirror on the inside - plus snails? SO cute.
- Measuring tape - always always always in my purse. Works well for measuring the waists of vintage dresses instead of bringing them to the dressing room.
- Vintage Gray Ostrich Skin Wallet - I love this wallet because it has plenty of space for cards, rare for a vintage wallet, plus a kisslock coin compartment.
Market Publique also gave away a pair of adorable red sailboat earrings to a lucky reader of Japion NY, in celebration of the article.
