Introducing our new blogger, Jessie!

You've met Priyanka. Now meet Jessie! Jessie will be blogging for Market Publique! YAY!

You may know her from her fashion blog That Rara Avis, where she posts some of her covetable layered looks, plaid love and suspender addictions. She is also a dear friend and fierce baker. We met at a dinner party, which she and her loftmates host regularly here in Williamsburg. We started talking and realized we love so many of the same things: we follow a lot of the same blogs, love vintage, thrifting, and baking. Ever since that night, we've bonded over fashion, food and friends. We've gone thrifting and continue to have dinner parties and her house, my house, or just faux ones at a local restaurant.

In the photo above, we're laughing it up at my studio mate Jake's gallery opening, yesterday. You may remember his work from some of the pictures we took of the studio. They are really amazing industrial landscape paintings at a large scale. Feel free to stop by the show at The Project Room, running for the next two weeks. We later had an amazing dinner at Jessie's loft, made of super-fresh CSA produce - yay!
