Outfit - Island Flavor

Since summer is rapidly drawing to a close, I decided to go all out and dress like I am on vacation. And I am glad I did, because ever since then, it's been constantly raining in New York.

Lucky for me, I am living out my vacation fantasies in Florida, doing a little bit of shopping for the Market Publique House Store. And you should get excited! I have scored a multitude of leather pieces, sequins galore and tons of stuff for our fall and holiday shoots. Don't worry, you won't have to wait long for the sneak peek, as I am back in the city by Monday.

Anyway, back to New York and my tropical island inspired outfit...

This bustier has been one of my absolute favorite things to wear this summer. It goes with everything- a batik skirt, a tropical print, jeans and a chambray shirt... The sunnies I borrowed from Jon when we first started dating 5 years ago... I haven't really given them back, but now that we're married and live together he doesn't seem to mind much.

I am usually either in towering wedges or my trusty thong sandals, but this pair of vintage oxfords won me over with their unusual bright orangey-pink hue.

And of course, copious amounts of bangles, which I have been wearing since junior high, sometimes with outrageously large necklace. You have probably seen these in action before, here and here.
