Outfit: New Media Fashion Brunch and Boutique Crawl at SXSW

Pamela at the New Media Fashion Brunch

As you can imagine, there was some  amazing outfits at the New Media Fashion Brunch at SXSW. Everyone was embracing the Spring weather and excited to ditch the layers and coats. Most people expected me to show up in a vintage dress, so in a wild twist - I didn't! No worries, I wore plenty of vintage still.

We stopped on the way to the shops on South Congress to take a few outfit shots.

Oufit details:

Dress, Samantha Pleet (organic cotton from one of my favorite independent designers - plus it has an ikat print and a bustier top!)

Necklace, antique Guatemalan chachal, passed on from my great-grandmother

Sunglasses, vintage Yves Saint Laurent cateyes

Bracelets, vintage Foxhunt Vintage on Market Publique

Belt (worn as bracelet), vintage from the Ester's Antiques trunk show at Girl Next Door

A closer look at my Valentino shoes - a recent splurge... Couldn't resist those voluminous bows!

Bracelets

A closer look at my bracelets and new belt (worn as a bracelet).

I also loved these ladies fabulous outfits (although there were tons more fabulous outfits. You can check them out at everyone's respective blogs).

Brooke at the New Media Fashion Brunch

Brooke, founder of Fashism, wore an amazing psychedelic vintage maxi dress from Sammy D Vintage, amazing clogs, Chloe sunglases and vintage jewelry.

Don't you love the colors and swirls and the amazing cuff she paired the dress with?

Janette at the New Media Fashion Brunch

We also agreed that Janette of Fashion Loves People had the perfect SXSW look - Storenvy Tee, cuffed skinny jeans, flat snakeskin t-straps and vintage-inspired Spitfire sunglasses.

Tran at the New Media Fashion Brunch

And of course, who can forget Tran's adorable onesie, perfectly accessorized with a denim vest and a head bow? LOVE it. She also scored some amazing vintage pieces at Prototype, I can't wait to see them on her blog!
