The Chictopia 10 conference was fabulous. It was great to see everyone and get a chance to sit down and relax for a bit amidst the craziness of NYFW.

The panels were all very interesting and informative, offering great opinions and advice from industry insiders like Cate Corcoran of WWD, and EJ Samson, former Web Editor at Teen Vogue. The panels were also balanced out by some of my favorite bloggers, including Liz Cherkasova of Late Afternoon & Vanessa Hung of The Haute Pursuit. I attended the conference with Tiffany of Rock Paper Vintage & Erica of Hold My Gold. We woke up bright and early and fueled up at Grey Dog before heading in. The conference was well-stocked with coffee, tea & snacks too, which is more food than I've ever seen at Fashion Week, and they catered an amazing lunch. After all the panels we mingled and chatted. I bonded with Jennie of Going West about blogging and art, and finally met Laura from On The Racks in person, among other fabulous bloggers.

After the conference, we headed to the party at Juicy Couture where we sipped some bubbly and hung out with the fabulous ladies from Dusty Rose Vintage, including the lovely bloggers Mel of Idée Geniale, Nickie of Wild as a Mink and Showgirl Godzilla. Then we headed out for a slice of pizza and more debauchery before much-needed sleep. FUN!

It was rainy AND windy, but still warm, proving it diffult to select a last-minute outfit at 8am, seeing how I couldn't wear the leather dress I had originally planned to wear. I decided I still wanted to wear leather but not get it ruined in the rain, so I wore my vintage leather bra under this sheer maxi dress from H&M. Here's more details of my outfit.
