Recap: Our First Vintage & Bloggers Meetup - Monday is for Margaritas!

Thank you everyone who came to our first Meetup last night at Nita Nita! We had a lot of fun drinking margaritas in the backyard of this Williamsburg bar, and hanging out to all the fabulous people that came. Plus isn't it great to finally put faces to the names (or Twitter handles?)

The margaritas and business cards were flowing, and we had an excellent turnout despite the sweltering heat (even more than the RSVPs had indicated! hmmmm...) There were also some ah-mah-zing outfits, including Anne's halftone printed dress à la Andy Warhol, perfectly styled with a vintage Bob Dylan 45 record (as a hair accessory!) and hot pink checkered wayfarers. I took some pictures, but unfortunately, as you can see, my card failed and half of my pictures turned black... Sad, sad, but true. Next time I'm going to take up  Mo Darling's offer to be my back up! Still, i did manage to snap a few fabulous outfits, as evidenced below....

Thank you everyone for the support, and we hope to see you at the next one!

If you weren't able to make it, please join our Meetup group to be notified when we schedule our next event!

Unfortunately, something happened with my memory card, and a lot of my photos were black. No, I did not forget to take the lens cap off, I swear! Thus, we don't have pictures of lovely Mo Darling, Judith from InStyle.com, Anne and her fabulous outfit, photographer Chris Reed, MP blogger Jessie and many more fashionable people sitting at the big picnic table... sadness!

Thank goodness Liz took some pics of of my outfit with her camera! Otherwise, I would be a terrible blogger and not be able to document my attire... Here goes... (thanks Liz!!)
