SoHo Holiday Stroll at Amarcord
The SoHo Holiday Stroll party at Amarcord proved to be fun, despite the pouring torrential rain. We drank Prosecco, ate mini sandwiches of prosciutto and mozzarella and shopped the night away.

Taking advantage of the discount and the fact that it will help NYC’s homeless, I got the most adorable pinky poison ring from their amazing costume jewelry collection. It’s gold with sapphires and pearls, and opens to reveal a secret compartment. I’m skipping the poison and writing tiny wishes on pieces of paper to carry around with me until they come true. Plus, I have a weakness for pinkie rings and hadn’t been able to find a nice, vintage poison ring I loved. Score!

Thank you Marco and Patti for a great party, and for allowing me to take pictures of the store for the blog!
I didn’t get a chance to go to the YSL sale at Housing Works, but my spies told me it was pretty good, but sold out after the first 10 people got in (they had been waiting for it to start since 5pm…). The 500-piece lot was mostly comprised of suits and 80s shoulder-padded jackets, and while there were some dresses, those were the first to go. Suprisingly, they had sizes ranging from 36 to 42, strange since it was all from one donor. Oh well, maybe next time!
