This Weekend: Market Publique at Fashion Camp

Its been a busy Fashion Week for Market Publique! We spoke at the Fashion2.0 Startup Showcase. We featured sellers Artifaktori, Erstwhile Style, Some Like Us, Dusty Rose, and Rabbits at our booth at the Manhattan Vintage Clothing Show (read about it! ). We had a ton of fun Chictopia’s Social Influence Summit (we were a sponsor!), and Pamela spoke at the Independent Fashion Blogger’s Evolving Influence Conference. Phew!

We’re almost done, but there’s one more: this weekend Market Publique will be at Fashioncamp, a two-day un-conference at Parsons School of Design.

Fashion Camp is a free, volunteer-run, 2-day barcamp- style conference with workshops and presentations focused on current topics in fashion, technology, and innovative marriages of fashion and tech. Topics include fashion tech/wearables, fashion eCommerce, and fashion2.0. At FashionCamp, ANYONE can present, and EVERYONE is encouraged to share their knowledge!

Remember our friend Greta? She’ll be speaking about Sustainable Fashion. Our friend Sammy D explains Fashion Camp in a video on her blog and will share her thrifting tips at FC. There’ll be speakers from Burdastyle, Etsy, and Makerbot.
