Who The Hell is Market Publique?

Market Publique is Anthony, Jon and Pamela.

Some of you already know a bit about me, Pamela, as I have been the main writer of the blog. And you took a peek at my hubby Jon a while back when we went to Montrèal. But you haven’t met our partner Anthony… So we thought we’d tell you a bit about us.

We assume the first thing you’d like to know is what we were wearing last Friday. So here goes:

Ok, now that we got the important stuff out of the way, a mini bio:

Anthony Ina is our lead user experience designer. He uses his skills to design Market Publique’s platform, making sure all vintage sellers and buyers will have a nice interface to look at and click on. He’s been interested in fashion since helping his dad run photo shoots at their hair salon, and got more into vintage by spending quality time with Chitown Vintage, who helped him score the jacket and shirt pictured above. Quality indeed!

Jonathan Berger is our resident nerd (although we’re all kinda nerdy), pixel pusher and tech antenna. He makes sure we’re all buzzword compliant, use Twitter frequently and know our URLs from our URIs. He also takes great photos.

Pamela Castillo is a vintage fashion junkie, fine artist, stylist, designer and Flash developer. She has been avidly collecting vintage clothes and raiding her grandmother’s closet since she was 12. Now she’s making her obsession work for her by buying stock for the Market Publique seller account, styling our shoots, and obsessing about all the little details that will make the vintage buying and selling experience better. Oh yeah, and writing this blog.
